My Book Snack Book Blog Launch + Cookie Recipe

Hi! Welcome to my first post on my new book blog! If you’re coming over from Sweet Spot BookBlog, thank you! I’m so honored for your visit. If you’ve never visited Sweet Spot Book Blog, my book friends there are great!

This is such an exciting endeavor for me. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been reviewing books since 2011. I love talking about the romance books I read, and I hope I can offer you some nice recommendations.

Today, though, I wanted to feature something that is not a book review or a book spotlight. It’s the season for holiday baking, and I wanted to welcome you all here with a cookie recipe!

I love baking. I love cookies. It's always a challenge to find a healthy cookie recipe that actually tastes good. I found this paleo-friendly cookie recipe from Lee over at Fit Foodie Finds.

The Paleo Hot Cocoa Cookies with Vanilla Bean Frosting are gluten-free, grain-free, easy to make, and absolutely delicious!!! I was salivating waiting for them to come out of the oven!

OK, I take really bad pictures. Click on the recipe link to see Lee's gorgeous pictures of these cookies!

These were so yummy (and kid-approved) that I'm definitely baking more and giving them away for the holidays! I think the only thing I would change are the size of the cookies. I will make them into mini cookies next time.

Will you be doing any cookie baking this holiday season? Please let me know if you are and what.

Are you reading anything good?

I'm looking forward to your comments.

I'm so happy that you're able to stop by today...THANK YOU!!!

~ Grace

  3. Great job Grace!! I wish you the best and good luck with your new blog. It looks great!
I had to bake a batch of cookies tonight for my daughter's class. I'm not a great cook or baker, but I like to try, so I'm sure I'll be stalking your blog for some good cookies recipes :)

    1. I used to bake a lot, but not so much anymore. I have a lot of family and friends who need to eat gluten-free, so they're getting these for the holidays. It means so much that you stopped by on my launch day, Loupe. Thank you!
